Numerous firsts:

Dave has been an innovator throughout his art career, taking advantage of the newest methods and materials available to an artist and was one on the first to completely shift his printing process to the Giclee method which is far superior to many other reproduction techniques.

Though he is not the first to do so Dave is one of the leaders encouraging artists to reverse the trend of massive quantity limited editions and return to edition sizes that are truly limited. To try claiming and edition of 25,000 prints is a limited edition is a very deceptive practice because seldom would those numbers be exceeded in average selling conditions. Editions of in the hundreds or under 100 are more in line with art traditions.

Since taking full control of his printing process for limited editions, rather than contract with publishers,  he now has the ability to offer additional "firsts".

1. For the first time you are able to specify the size you need in "limited edition" prints.

2. You are able to choose the type of media you want. A print can be made on canvas or specialty papers.

3. You are able to specify a finish such as glossy or mat.

These options allow you to participate in the creative process and tailor the artwork you choose to your needs.
