Welcome to my website that is a virtual representation of my boudoir styled home art gallery.
Numerous artists are pursuing this method of putting our work on display within our homes due to the
changes taking place in the art market and the economic limitations we find as noted in a New York Times article.
I am located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and attend the gallery daily by appointment. 
This site shows my paintings, photography, custom portraiture and secondary items
such as screen savers and videos. My other website, www.prairiefires.com, showcases my Raku, 
horse hair and pit fired pottery or sculpture as well as my music compositions with free MP3s you can listen to.

Announcing a major change concerning how I sell my artwork.
With few exceptions I no longer have any galleries or shops acting as direct representatives for my work and am doing
everything between my family and myself. Because of this I am reducing my prices so that my clients can save the
margin between my price and what was a gallery price which was up  to 50%. There are a number of reasons for
this change but the main one is that since I am older now I want to know my clients better. With the gallery system
I was seldom even able to know who owned my work or where it ended up being displayed. This might be fine in the
world of product marketing such as Wal-Mart or some department store but I do not feel it is appropriate for myself
as an artist any longer.
